thanks for the compliment. On your computer, do the images look too saturated, or have they just the right amount of color? I'm curious to see if my computer screen is still rendering them too pale in comparison to other screens. thanks
The thorny subject of monitor displays ... what a nightmare! A few weeks ago I bought a proper monitor calibration tool (Spyder 2 pro) to use on my Sony LCD and I discovered that although I had been using Adobe gamma and a couple of online charts to try and keep it calibrated, it was still too light! I now see quite a difference when I look at images on my work PC (which I'm doing now) compared to the calibrated one at home!
But the bottom line is that although I see a diifference, your images look fine to me on both. The colours are deeper and more saturated on my home PC and, IMO, all the better for it
A lot of my earloer work looks dreadful on a properly calibrated monitor

Thanks. I don't mind sharing ideas and "what works" at all.
I used 'big brew julia' in tma.' this provides a really nice spiral without alot of 'noise'. I use it quite often. It works wonderfully with a variety of coloring algorithums.
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
